अल्बानीज यांनी त्यांच्या इन्स्टाग्राम पोस्टमध्ये भारतीय संघाचं कौतुक केलं, पण प्रधानमंत्री इलेव्हनला विजय मिळवण्याची अपेक्षाही व्यक्त केली.
“मनुका ओव्हलवर या आठवड्यात भारतीय संघाविरुद्ध प्रधानमंत्री इलेव्हनला मोठं आव्हान आहे. पण, जसं मी पंतप्रधान @narendramodi यांना सांगितलं, तसं मी ऑस्ट्रेलियन संघाचा पाठिंबा करतो,” असं अल्बानीज म्हणाले.
भारतीय संघाचं दमदार पुनरागमन
न्यूझीलंडकडून घवघवीत पराभव स्विकारल्यानंतर भारतीय संघाने पर्थ कसोटीत शानदार पुनरागमन केलं. पहिल्या डावात केवळ १५० धावांवर गारद झाल्यानंतरही त्यांनी ऑस्ट्रेलियाला २९५ धावांनी पराभूत केलं.
आता दुसरा कसोटी सामना ६ डिसेंबरपासून अॅडलेड ओव्हलवर होणार असून हा डे-नाईट सामना गुलाबी चेंडूने खेळला जाणार आहे.
रोहित शर्मा संघात परतला
भारतीय संघाचा कर्णधार रोहित शर्मा आपल्या दुसऱ्या अपत्याच्या जन्मासाठी काही काळ बाहेर होता. मात्र, आता तो संघात परतला असून अॅडलेड कसोटीपूर्वी नेट्समध्ये सरावाला सुरुवात केली आहे.
